When I first come to see you I am going to ask you, “what  type of garden would you like” ?
I am usually told “I will leave it to you, because you are the expert.” But it is not my garden its yours. However don’t worry, on my first visit after about five minutes and a quick check list you will soon realize that you really do have a pretty good idea of what your likes and dislike are and then we can really get stuck in and design what you want.

I have a great love of garden compartments where the site is divided into interesting zones. Water features, woodland areas, hard surface sitting areas for entertaining, perhaps a secret garden where you are hidden from the world for that quiet coffee while the fragrance of the screening plants allows you to relax.

From 40 sq. metres to 4 hectares I will maximise space giving you the garden of your dreams and in addition the garden you couldn’t have imagined in your wildest dreams.

Cushnie Landscapes will provide you with:

• A full site visit wherever you are and consultation with you to get your ideas and to understand what you may want and just as importantly what you may not want.
• A detailed, hand drawn landscape plan to scale
• A guaranteed price for the work quoted, no added extras and no surprises at the end unless of course you ask for a change in specification.

Once the plans, materials and quote have been agreed:

• Materials are sourced from manufacturers and distributors of quality materials
• Plants are supplied by growers in Britain and Ireland where their climatic conditions ensure hardy, well grown, quality trees, shrubs and perennials.
• The agreed landscape work is then carried out within a sensible time scale and, allowing for unseasonal weather, unforeseen circumstances and amendments to the plan, is completed on time.
• If you commission us to do the work we only charge for the out of pocket expenses incurred in coming to see you for the consultation. The detailed plan of the work is free. If you choose not to commission us then we charge for out of pocket expenses which are unlikely to exceed £500 and a fee for the plan of £300 plus VAT.
• Fee for expert landscaping advice without commissioning work with us £800 per day plus VAT.
